What a week...and it is only Tuesday

Life is pretty busy these days. I'm preparing for lots of events. I wanted to show you some projects I have been working on.
I purchased an Accuquilt before Christmas. I have designed a couple of quilts specifically with Accuquilt dies in mind. I love to layer cut and well, Accuquilt allows that and then some!!
I purchased an Accuquilt GO so that I could do applique, but as it turned out I have been enjoying it for strip cutting, half square triangles, triangle square units and squares.
Strip die: Item 55025
Triangle Square: Item 55027
Half Square Triangle:Item 55009
Square:Item 55006
Here is the quilt, still in progress:

I've made all the blocks, still have to piece the rows together...not all the blocks are in this picture.
Some of the pieces laying on my table

Chain piecing

9 patch units made from 2" strip die. I made these blocks while I was piecing the blocks from the current project. These 9patches were my Leaders and Enders :)
This is a drunkards path. Also cut from Accuquilt's dies! Can't wait to finish piecing this one!

Longarm work: The other night I wanted to try something different. So I stitched a butterfly with my Innova longarm machine. Then I colored the butterfly in with Prisma colored markers. I like the way it turned out.
 Before
after :)
Hope you enjoyed my latest creations!
Happy Sewing!

  1. I've had my Go for some time & need to dust it off & put it to greater use. My fav's are the strip cutters. They make it go so fast when you need 80 strips
