I'm home!!

I'm home!!
I'm so happy to be back at home! These past few weeks have been very stressful. I'm just so happy to be sleeping in MY bed beside my hubby! He is such a wonderful man!
Love ya!!
Yesterday while just walking through the house, I noticed how things had not been done..cleaning ....the hardwood floors were not swept, the carpet was not vacuumed, the furniture was not dusted...hmmm...I want my house clean. Originally, I thought I was going to be able to go down to my sewing room and set everything back up after being gone on my 2 trips. Well.....lets just say after my little walking the house....it needed to be clean.
BUT, before I go there, I have to let everyone know how wonderful it was to be greeted by my family. My hubby was the only one home the first night. OH did I miss my man!! Later that night son Chris came home. He greeted me with 2 hugs!!! Now, you have to realize my boys are: Joe 21yrs, Chris 20yrs, Steve 19yrs, and John 16. As I saw each of my boys they all smiled and greeted with me with wonderful hugs!! And MOM!! I'm so glad you are home!! You can never leave us again!! LOL
Back to the house.
A couple of weeks ago, our washing machine died. So we went and bought a new one, now we had been nursing the old one for a long time, making repairs to keep it running...but sometimes you just have to break down and by a new one. So we did. While we were there, I saw a vacuum cleaner I wanted .... the store was closing so I didn't do anything about it.
Now, present day. As I'm walking the house, I mention to my husband that our OLD Kirby vacuum spits out dust from that cloth bag, and somethings just are not working properly..it is difficult to change the beater bar to the hose functions. Remember that vacuum I saw at the store? Can we go get it? I quickly checked the prices online to make certain that was the best deal. We ended up going to Bed Bath and Beyond and used the 20% coupon!! I bought the Professional Shark Vacuum!!! I vacuumed the entire downstairs when we got home!!! Oh my gosh I love it!!
I was not paid to say that! I just love the vacuum! Ahhhhh my carpets and hardwood floors are clean!
Life is good!!
Mountain Quiltfest!
Loved the show...wanna know something that is funny and sad at the same time? I was there training with YLI Thread to vend for them. My schedule was pretty flexible and I really enjoyed talking with everyone! I traveled down with 4 other ladies, and my sister, cousin and 3 of their friends came over from SC. We had a wonderful time...here is the sad part... I never got to view the quilts!! Can you believe it?! I did not get to see the quilts!! I had time, but I got caught up doing other things (talking).
Go figure!!
I'm hoping that the contacts I made will remember me.
I'm hoping that I will be invited to some of the shops down in the south to host a workshop or teach longarm quilting!
Well everyone!! Happy Sewing! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Take care!
